Jerry Cutaia began his career in the financial services profession just five days before September 11, 2001 as an Investment Representative for a community bank. After managing that branch for three years, he joined Waddell & Reed as a Financial Advisor. Jerry now serves as the Owner and CEO of Shepherd’s Way Financial. Jerry feels that beginning in the industry when he did has given him a special perspective to bring to his clients. He says, “With the turbulent markets in 2001 and 2002, I learned quickly that establishing relationships with clients and working with them in a framework that they are comfortable with, is much more important than picking investments could ever be.”
Jerry and his wife Shelley live in the small town of Shepherd with their sons Jordan and Jeremy. Jerry’s dedication to his community is reflected in his volunteer work on local boards and committees, reinforcing his belief in giving back both professionally and personally. When time permits he enjoys sports, working outdoors, hunting, fishing, and most of all, being with his family.
